from my homeroom to yours I went looking for something I couldn't find
From one mom to another: I spent a long time hunting for the perfect curriculum. I have a background in web development, so I love a system that actually works. But I'm a mother first, and what I really wanted was wonder.
Everything I found was either a thousand disconnected pieces or it just didn't sound like our family. And none of it put Jesus where I wanted him, right at the center of the science and the history and the ordinary Tuesday morning. I wanted my children to learn about the sea and the stars and know exactly who made them.
After a lot of prayer, it finally landed on me. I could stop looking. I could build it.
So I built a sanctuary, not a to-do list
Little Homeroom came together slowly, with a lot of heart and the honest feedback of real educators. And I was clear about one thing from the start: mothers do not need another list of things they are failing to get done. They need somewhere to land.
That's where the web developer in me got to help. I built the Member Area to be calm. Your whole year lives in one simple, beautiful place. There is nothing to print, nothing to file, and nothing to dig out of an old email. You open today's morning and go.
You are the expert on your child
Here is what I believe most: nobody knows your child the way you do. I don't have a teaching degree. What I have is the most important classroom there is, my own home, and years of learning right alongside my little ones instead of standing in front of them.
Little Homeroom was never meant to replace you. It was made to hand you the plan so you can hold their hand. To give you the confidence to teach your own children, and to hold on to these small, ordinary, holy years just a little bit longer.
I built this to bring peace to your mornings and joy to your table. I hope it helps you find the rhythm you've been looking for.
Come raise them with us.
