From My Homeroom to Yours A Search for Something Different
From one mom to another: I spent a long time searching for the "perfect" curriculum. With my background in web development, I have a heart for systems that work—but as a mother, I have a heart for wonder. It felt like everything I found was either a million disconnected pieces or just didn't align with our family’s values.
As a follower of Jesus, I wanted a curriculum that recognized Him as the Creator of all the things we were studying. I wanted the "secular" world of science and history to meet the Truth of the Word. After much prayer, I realized the answer wasn't to keep searching—it was to start creating.
The Vision for Little Homeroom
With the feedback of educators and a lot of heart, Little Homeroom was born. I didn’t want to create just another "to-do" list for moms. I wanted to build a sanctuary.
Because of my tech background, I knew I could solve the "clutter" problem. I designed our Member Area to be a beautiful, simple, and easy-to-use home for your guides and downloads. No more digging through emails or lost files—just a calm space for you to find what you need.
You Are the Expert
Here is what I believe most deeply: You are the expert on your child. While I may not have a formal teaching degree, my experience is rooted in the most important classroom there is: my own home. This curriculum was born from a desire to find a joyful way to learn alongside my children, not just "instruct" them.
Little Homeroom isn't about replacing you; it’s about empowering you. It’s a resource designed to give you the confidence to guide your children with love, holding onto these precious childhood years just a little bit longer.
I created this to bring peace and joy to your family, and I hope it helps you find the beautiful rhythm you’ve been looking for.
